MxW Summit 2023 - Recap
3rd In-Vitro 2D & 3D Neuronal Networks Summit
15 - 17 May 2023 | Zurich, Switzerland
We are still on a high after the 3rd In-Vitro 2D & 3D Neuronal Networks Summit! It was wonderful to have the event fully in person—connecting with each other and celebrating science together.
The exciting presentations and the engaging posters, and of course everyone’s active participation in all the networking and social events really made the MxW Summit a success! It was wonderful to learn from all the high quality content and discussions on topics ranging from advanced neurotechnologies and electrophysiology techniques, to the latest applications of 2D and 3D neuronal networks in disease modeling and drug discovery. And a big thank you to all the attendees, speakers, and of course our sponsors: FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Inc. (FCDI), Neuroservices-Alliance, NeuCyte and bit.bio – you all made this event truly exceptional.
We eagerly look forward to further discoveries in this exciting field and to continuing to grow this community. See you all at the MxW Summit 2024!

Interview with Dr. Brett Kagan, Cortical Labs
We recently had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Brett Kagan from Cortical Labs at MaxWell Biosystems for an engaging seminar. Dr. Brett Kagan's work on brain cells learning how to play Pong, published in Neuron, became viral last year. We had the opportunity to learn more about this innovative study and what’s next in this exciting project.
