MEAsterpiece Art Contest
Science is about creating, discovering, and being bold, and so is art. We are inviting you to explore the beauty of scientific innovation through your lens. Whether it is an image of your sample on our HD-MEA chip that stood out to you, a dynamic MaxLab Live short video, or a MaxWell-inspired drawing, let your creativity shine using MaxWell Biosystems tools and technology.
The winner will be announced during the 2nd Microelectrode Arrays in Neuroscience Social party to celebrate exciting milestones in MaxWell Biosystems’ journey: the opening of MaxWell Biosystems USA, Inc., our first U.S. subsidiary, and the unveiling of a new product you won’t want to miss. Let’s bring science to life through art!
Eligibility
The MEAsterpiece Art Contest is open to all researchers who want to share their art related to MaxWell Biosystems. All artwork should fall into one of the following categories:
- Assays and Data Visualization (i.e. Activity Scan, AxonTracking Assay, Stimulation Assay, etc.)
- Photographs or Videos (i.e. MaxWell Products, Microscopy of samples on the HD-MEA, etc.)
- Drawings (i.e. digital or hand drawing, etc.)
Requirements
- All registrations must be submitted through our webpage by completing the required fields in the registration form.
- The corresponding art submission must be uploaded to the following folder (click here).
- The file must follow the naming convention: FullName_LabName.
- Digital images must be submitted in PNG or TIFF format.
- Videos must not exceed a duration of 20 seconds.
Prizes
The winner will be announced, based on creativity and relevance to MaxWell Biosystems. The top entries for all three categories will be recognized and awarded during the event.
Additional Terms
By submitting, participants affirm that the artwork is original, and they grant MaxWell Biosystems a non-exclusive right to display and reproduce the submission for internal and promotional purposes.
