‍

  • Early detection of functional phenotypes: In collaboration with FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, the GRN+/- iPSC-derived FTD model enables early detection of disease-related functional changes, including increased neuronal activity and persistent hyperexcitability during network maturation
  • Reproducible network-level disease signatures: Longitudinal profiling of the iPSC-based FTD model reveals consistent network phenotypes, with increased burst frequency, prolonged burst duration, and reduced inter-burst intervals defining a reproducible hyperexcitable disease signature.
  • HD-MEA reveals disease-driven axonal changes: High-density recordings combined with the AxonTracking Assay uncover subcellular alterations in the FTD model, including reduced axonal branching and shorter neurites, revealing disease-associated deficits in structural connectivity.
